Perfect course for beginners; with gentle pacing and built in review sessions. T’ai Chi Chuan is an effective self protection system, a powerful self healing system and an active meditation training. By unifying mind, body, and breathing we enliven our actions with grace, energy, and vital life force cultivation. The postures that are used to teach this effective martial art and meditation are the same as those used for energetic healing. Practiced daily your body will literally heal itself from the inside out. T’ai Chi is the single most effective exercise for osteoporosis prevention and protection from falling.
Family Yoga

This class series gives family members (one adult and one or two children ages 6 and up) an opportunity to practice yoga together and experience a magical interaction that grounds them as equal partners. You develop strong bonds as you rely on and assist each other in the yoga postures. Movement, art-making and story telling are combined with the yoga practice to create a very unique and fun experience.
Yoga for Men

Exploring obstacles common to men, this workshop focuses on balancing strength with flexibility, improving range of movement and alignment for optimal joint health, and releasing over-worked areas to facilitate concentration. Each week will host a different set of asanas. Drop-ins welcome.
Summer Pilates
Teacher: Shari Jones

This workshop will concentrate on the fundamental principals of Joseph H. Pilates, whose ingenious method helped individuals create bodies dynamically balanced in strength and flexibility. By learning a series of well-designed movements, which encourage the develop- ment of back and abdominal strength, we will explore a variety of key components that assist our bodies and minds in achieving a well rounded workout. All ages and levels are welcome, but this class is not designed for those with specific therapeutic needs.
