Putting the “aah” in Asana

Discover how and where in your yoga poses you could let go of tension and extra effort. In this workshop series, we'll look at how the direction of energy and gravity play together in a pose to reveal a deeper and more profound experience where that “aah” feeling comes alive. (Six months of yoga experience recommended or permission of the instructor.)

This intensive workshop offers the opportunity to immerse ourselves in yoga over the course of a mid-winter day. We will work our way through a balanced yoga practice, exploring a variety of essential elements to create equilibrium of mind and body, and renew the spirit. Both sessions will include active asana and restorative and/or breath centered practice. Finish the day with restorative hot stone massage and candlelight yoga.

Join Rebecca for a calming and regenerating experience through long-held poses with the support of props. Bring balance to your daily life through a restorative yoga practice held in candlelight. Enjoy the soothing effects of hot stones and massage.

Monthly Advanced Workshops

In this once-a-month class, experienced students will have the opportunity to deepen their practice and explore more advanced asana with a longer practice time under the guidance of senior teacher Sandy Blaine. Each month, we'll focus on a different area, covering the more challenging standing poses, moving beyond the basics with inversions, going deeper into backbends, forward bends and twists, and ultimately exploring asana as a preparation for pranayama and meditation.

Spring Intro to Yoga Basics

5-week series: Mondays, March 26 through April 23 (Please note: the Winter session is full, we are currently taking registration for the Spring session.)

This introduction to the basic poses and concepts of Iyengar-style Hatha yoga is highly recommended for newcomers to yoga and those seeking a refresher to practice, but is not intended for those with special therapeutic needs. Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

New Year's Resoluter's Workshop: Mind-Body Fitness

Bhakti Rasa: A Night of Kirtan, Singing and Dance

Kirtan is a form of “call and response” singing of sacred chants. The songs are sung in Sanskrit. Sing along with a live band, we will provide song sheets and translations. Everyone is welcome. You can sing with us, listen or just dance!
