Introduction to Yoga Basics 6-week Series

A 6-week introduction to the basic poses and concepts of Iyengar-style Hatha yoga. Recommended for newcomers, but not for those with special therapeutic needs. Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is highly recommended.
Holiday Stress Reduction (6-week series)

The holidays are a time to celebrate; also a time we often find ourselves under pressure to do everything. This season take time for yourself to deepen your yoga practice and learn valuable skills for alleviating stress. Combining gentle stretches with restorative poses, we will explore relaxation techniques involving body-sensing, breathing-awareness, guided meditation and imagery. Learn to relax on every level, releasing tension from the unconscious mind and body, to maintain a sense of balance and serenity.
Annual New Year's Day Practice

Price: $35 pre registration, $40 at the door (space permitting)

Start the new year with an active affirmation for health and well being by joining us at the Alameda Yoga Station for our traditional first practice of the year. This workshop is geared toward experienced students, and will offer an all-around practice including both an energizing workout and lots of relaxation. Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
